if chery battery went bad after warranty, they could just replace the bad module with new module for a fraction of price. you are assuming they must change full new suit of batteries which is not right.
also, have you heard of the saying "a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow"? based on this idiom, the subscription plan isnt worth if you assume the cost of replacement is the same
