Ketenangan selepas pilihan raya Sabah mula goyah, kurang 24 jam selepas senarai kabinet baharu diumumkan.

Antaranya, pemimpin Umno Jafry Ariffin kini memegang portfolio pelancongan Sabah, manakala pemimpin PKR Jamawi Jaafar dilantik menteri pertanian Sabah.

“(Sebanyak) 12 kerusi GRS kini berpotensi menjadi kerusi pilihan raya kecil, termasuk Kuamut.”

whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

“Kami minum kopi saja.”

Hajiji kini memiliki sokongan sekurang-kurangnya 46 Adun.

Meanwhile Shafie denied attempts to "buy" ADUNs.... but.... who knows whistling.gif

PETALING JAYA: Warisan president Shafie Apdal today rejected claims that his party attempted to buy over assemblymen in an attempt to form the Sabah government after the state election on Saturday.
In a statement, Shafie said Warisan had always upheld integrity and the principle that leadership must be earned through public trust.

“Warisan respects the mandate of the people and the democratic process that guides our state,” he said.

“We will continue to fulfil the role entrusted to us with dignity, consistency and an unwavering dedication to serving Sabah.”

Quoting sources, FMT yesterday reported that Barisan Nasional (BN) was brought into the new Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Plus government to safeguard chief minister Hajiji Noor’s administration from collapsing less than two days after his swearing-in.

A GRS insider claimed that Warisan had attempted to destabilise the fledgling state government by offering full ministerial positions to BN representatives and five independent assemblymen.

Reports suggested that Warisan, which secured 25 seats, was engaged in talks with BN and several other parties in a bid to form a coalition government in Sabah.

Deputy chief minister I Joachim Gunsalam later confirmed that both BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH) were part of Hajiji’s new administration.

Among the 10 ministers sworn in before Sabah governor Musa Aman were PH’s Melalap assemblyman Jamawi Jaafar and BN’s Sukau assemblyman Jafry Ariffin.

Hajiji was sworn in as chief minister for a second term on Sunday.

GRS secured 29 seats in last Saturday’s election and later gained the support of three Upko assemblymen, one from PH, and five independents.

It is understood that Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat, which holds one seat in the Paginatan state constituency, also supports the GRS government.

STAR pulling support from GRS.... its starting? whistling.gif

PETALING JAYA: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) has withdrawn its support for the Sabah government led by Hajiji Noor and will take on the role of the opposition in the state assembly.

Its president Jeffrey Kitingan said the party was not part of the new administration and would instead concentrate on serving as a check on the state government in the assembly, the New Straits Times reported.

“STAR is just observing the situation. As STAR is not invited to form the government, we will play our role as a responsible opposition. This is our official position,” he was quoted as saying.

STAR left GRS last month in protest of the coalition’s pact with Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Kitingan said on Sunday that his party would support Hajiji, the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman, as chief minister following the state polls on Saturday.

Kitingan had congratulated Hajiji on his reappointment as chief minister and expressed gratitude to the voters who reelected him in Tambunan and backed fellow party member Ishak Ayub as Bingkor assemblyman.

Parti Bersatu Sabah acting president Dr Joachim Gunsalam, representing the chief minister, yesterday unveiled the state’s new Cabinet, which brings together elected representatives from GRS, Upko, PH and Barisan Nasional (BN).

Notably absent from the line-up were representatives from STAR and independents who had pledged their support for Hajiji following the state election.

GRS came out tops in the election, winning 29 of the 73 seats it contested. It has the support of three assemblymen from Upko, one each from PH and Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat, and five independents, which enabled it to form the state government.

Yesterday, Joachim announced that BN was also officially backing GRS to form the new state government, bringing the total number of government assemblymen to 45.

Warisan is part of the opposition with 25 seats. Perikatan Nasional’s sole representative in the state assembly, incoming Karambunai assemblyman Aliakbar Gulasan, said his coalition had yet to decide whether to support Hajiji’s administration.

dunno if plausible. PWS dont really need to do anything.

Alot of people looking forward for a purely non-malayan coalition were disappointed when Jiji got his balls squeezed.

CM didnt even look happy while announcing the new lineup and the PC was called off before media get to chance to ask questions. KM left hastily

Guess now the Chinese Sabahan regretted their decision to support Warisan, if PH contributed 10 seats, 7 from DAP, 3 from PH then situation will not be rocky at all. Supposed the support for Sabahan party bring unity but instead becoming enabler for katak season.

So far got nothing to do with Warisan but what if those Chinese area were to be kept status quo under PH, then Hajiji got at least 10 seats to offset any defection. Meaning Chinese voters backed Warisan as unity for Sabah for Sabahan but manatau the outcome indirectly enabling katak season. The irony.

Singapore uses atuk as a bogeyman.

Sabah and Sarawak use Malaya as a bogeyman.

But the weird thing is, the land is being plundered by rich tycoons and mostly by their own local politicians.

Look up Langkah Kinabalu. Basically, BN Sabah led by Bung tried to bring down Hajiji's govt. Now, they are forced to accept BN back into the GRS fold? how to guarantee there wont be another attempt at the throne by bung and company?

This mess happened because the Hajiji is clearly being arm twisted to accept BN into his lineup. If you dont want to believe in idealism and the rhetoric of no malaya parties thats fine, but you need to follow the events carefully.

Some macai DAP can make this into Warisan's fault somehow.

By number, GRS should be able to rule with just local party or even give some concession to Warisan to defend against any plot from Peninsula party.

But as we know from Albert's video that someone's balls kena squeezed so no choice but to give 2 minister post to the Peninsula party who lose

If really want to counter this? GRS ADUN member who doesn't involved in the mining scandal should work with Warisan and other local party and Bebas to form a strong local coalition like GPS.

Are you okay? Your comprehension skills really need to improve. I didn’t say it’s a Warisan problem a clearly I have stated the current situation is not what Sabahan Chinese have desired, an unstable govt ready to be toppled anytime after barely being assembled. The whole idea of Sabah for Sabahan is to unite to demand whatever rights deemed owned by federal to the state with Sarawak as the model.

Bung might thinking, continue to enter coalition and in future BN might lose out all his remaining 6 seats, since GRS is their main opponent, deep in his mind Warisan is his worthy alliance.

Shafie also won't jump out unless he is 100% confident, the blood bath between Shafie and Musa Aman during year 2018 and 2020 which will prevent him appointed as CM. Shafie might be thinking, let u all fight until GE17, after that Sabah might be reshuffle again.

You think Sabah Chinese supported Warisan due to Sabah for Sabah? You sure it’s not because they see DAP as MCA 2.0?

Sabah for Sabah sentiments has been there for a while, Sabah Chinese never really joined in. Why now suddenly they join in? I’d say more logical that they ditched DAP for throwing their integrity out the window. Nga kor ming happily going around campaigning and trying to justify PMX ex aide saying he not corrupt right after the videos were released. You think that won’t cause hate from the voters?

You think Sabah Chinese supported Warisan due to Sabah for Sabah? You sure it’s not because they see DAP as MCA 2.0?

Sabah for Sabah sentiments has been there for a while, Sabah Chinese never really joined in. Why now suddenly they join in? I’d say more logical that they ditched DAP for throwing their integrity out the window. Nga kor ming happily going around campaigning and trying to justify PMX ex aide saying he not corrupt right after the videos were released. You think that won’t cause hate from the voters?
Wait, what has Warisan to do with all this? The ones wanting to pull support are from GRS and never have they once mentioned Warisan.

Yes I am very sure because my in-laws are Sabahan and in fact still living in Luyang area. My wife went back to vote and being bombarded with plenty of pro-Sabah for Sabahan materials from AI generated song to group chat talking non stop on this topic. Myself been residing there for decades know how the local sentiments. Corruption? To locals, they just use the topic to chit chat during yum chat session. You have no idea how corrupted the culture entrenched in Sabah until it had become a norm.

You are speaking to a Sabahan you know. There’s a big difference between the sentiments of Sabahan bumis and Sabahan Chinese. You say Sabahan Chinese don’t care about corruption then why did they bother to vote DAP all this while? Got many local chinese parties they can vote for. Why need to vote DAP? DAP only selling point before was that they are anti corruption and that captured the votes of the Sabahan Chinese.

I am speaking from my experience and I bet my experience in Sabah is more than you when it comes to Sabahan sentiment. Anyway it’s almost 5, and it’s time for Aramaiti. If you know, you know.

The fact that you don’t even know there’s Sabahan sentiment and Sabahan Chinese sentiment shows you don’t tho.

But yeah sure, you know better than a Sabahan 😂

Yes you are right, you are the most original Sabahan in a multiverse where you are the lone Sabahan in Sabah. 😂 I don’t need to show anything as I’m surrounded by enough Sabahan to make my own judgements.

More like urban voters reject DAP or Peninsula party, as long Warisan stand on their foot i don't see voters will regret at all
Bung might thinking, continue to enter coalition and in future BN might lose out all his remaining 6 seats, since GRS is their main opponent, deep in his mind Warisan is his worthy alliance.

Shafie also won't jump out unless he is 100% confident, the blood bath between Shafie and Musa Aman during year 2018 and 2020 which will prevent him appointed as CM. Shafie might be thinking, let u all fight until GE17, after that Sabah might be reshuffle again.

Already got signs showing Bung isnt remorseful for all the backstabbing he tried to pull..
