If you're a PC gamer or doing work that require certain app to work under Windows, its really difficult to justify.

For those just surf the web, normal probably no issues at all.

Been using mint, normal use ok, haven't use any specific windows or mac programs. For work then whatever the company gives.

You know the work they have to put into just to get games to working properly? I've tried Bazzite and I run Steam, no problem for games like Five Hearts Under One Roof but when tried to run a Half Life 2 demo, i got errors. Missing this, missing that. Even older games got issues to launch and have to look up for solutions and even that wasn't perfect. While I can solve some of these issues but what about those who are not so well verse in Linux terminal commands?

Linux need to fix this issues and I hope Valve solves this with Steam OS for desktop and not some hacks use via Steamdeck images.

Linux can run Windows games and apps easily now. Some distros have built-in support. U only need to mount an ISO or copy all the files to a directory and click on the EXE.

10 years ago already playing warcraft 3 and halflife on Ubuntu through wine and opengl. Worked fine but when it came to software for actual work like SOLIDWORKS etc....all problem.
