lol TS one month use 60,000 liters of water. Thats enuf to fill a swimming pool. Confirm leakage underground. In fact i believe there's a huge hole beneath the house already due to water hakis for so many years. The house gonna roboh soon. Better ask real professional with specialised tools to check

How did he find the exact spot there the leak was?

First step is shut off all the taps in the house then check the meter. If the meter still running confirm got leak.

Cheapest way is to replace all the pipes with external ones. Not neat and pretty like internal piping but no need waste time and money looking for the leak and breaking the wall and then redoing it. The next time it leaks it's easy to see where the leak is and you only have to replace that section of pipe.

if you lucky, it's a broken float ball....

if you're unlucky.... it's a broken underground pipe inside your housing premise  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Not likely broken underground pipe. Ayam kena before, water bill shot up to a few hundred over 2 or 3 bills. Not likely will maintain nicely at 100+ for 20+ years.

Off all pipe inside. Then he check the meter outside still moving. Based on that he confirmed underground leakage. After that he reroute the piping. Piping now is external.

air selangor should grant you a Platinum status.

confirm leak. even with swimming pool not easy to breach RM100 cause you dont refill the pool on a monthly basis.

Usually check water damage on wall. If got at least they know where to dig. The wall will have the paint damaged, kasar2.

If no obvious sign. They usually reroute external pipe. No sane plumber going to hack your floor to find it.

leaking is possible but TS mentioned that already >20 years with > RM100 water bill

how can a leaking last long for 20 years with no one detected and caused problem at his/her house and nearby ?
*
Stupid ppl really damn a lot espcially in this country called Malaysia.

Apply logic la, its damn near impossible rm100 with only 3 person.

Normal human going to at least see water meter moving or not when no ppl in the house to rule out leaking. To reach rm100 the meter going to be constantly moving, got very obvious sound at midnight.

3 ppl can go rm100+ conlan7firm leaking la.

100000% leaking.

Apparently this world damn a lot of sei sohai dont know how to check leaking or not. Speaking from experience. I had tenant swear keep say no leak but bill rm100 to rm200 then up to rm300. I had to hire plumber go check for him. Straight show me tangki already leaking non stop, water stain berlambak. The tenant reaction? "Ohhh ya ke, ini kira leaking ye? "

TS u are definitely one of those sei sohai. Hire a plumber go check
