I also group MLM people into cult. You probably have heard how many people try to talk to their older parents or relatives that those are scam. But they simply would not listen.

GISB is considered low IQ method. The highest method are those used by variant churches. They do not sell products or services. But the sell community and belonging. It's totally different kind of mind game.

The similarities are they ride on religion as the anchor point.
