Kuala Lumpur: Polis menahan dua lelaki warga asing yang disyaki terbabit kes pukul lelaki tempatan sehingga menyebabkan kematian di Lorong 5, Kampung Pandan, di sini, semalam.

Ketua Polis Daerah Wangsa Maju, Asisten Komisioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail berkata, pihaknya menerima laporan berhubung kejadian jam 12.01 tengah malam.

"Mangsa seorang lelaki tempatan berusia 22 tahun didapati terbaring di jalan raya dalam keadaan tidak sedarkan diri dengan kepala berdarah serta luka di tapak tangan kiri," katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini

Mohamad Lazim berkata, mangsa kemudian dibawa ke hospital bagi mendapatkan rawatan, namun disahkan meninggal dunia jam 2.33 pagi hari ini .

Sehubungan itu, beliau berkata, polis berjaya membuat tangkapan ke atas dua lelaki warga Myanmar bagi membantu siasatan.

"Motif kejadian masih dalam siasatan dan kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan.

"Kedua-dua suspek direman selama tiga hari sehingga 2 Disember mengikut Seksyen 117 Kanun Prosedur Jenayah," katanya.

Terdahulu, tular klip video pergaduhan sekumpulan individu bersenjata dipercayai berlaku di Kampung Pandan.
