when i touch, i feel the surface is rough.

Contractor really did such bad job...

Contractor lanjibai never do water proofing properly..

So the acidic water start to makan the cement concrete below and then melt and deform.. it will be like stalagmite cave like stuff

its a condo unit. will the water leak through downstair ?

any solution?

Leak or not i dunno. Very hard to tell.

Solution is redo tile only,, and do the surfacing for water escape properly so no water ponding.. and do water proofing properly 2 layer for safety.

If u wanna hack and redo tile, i recommend the side also hack 2 tile up so the corner can waterproof properly also.
