QUOTE(Einjahr @ Nov 30 2025, 04:58 PM) idk about altruistic, its more pragmatic for the long-term especially after what feds tried to do by planting alberto to snare jiji and company if i understood it correctly. so what's the composition for the upcoming GRS 2.0 admin? UPKO + 5 bebas + PKDM + BN support hajiji as CM while Warisan + PN as oppo?I mean early on, PH ( especially PKR) were trying to wrest more seats from GRS during negotiation prior before elections, asides from other issues judging from press conference, macam Warisan belum decide yet to become opposition for the 17th assembly. |

Im not surprised if UPKO will try ask Hajiji to sideline PKR from the cabinet since they had it bad from those bullies too. l |

Was present to hear the press conference and the ground sentiment.judging from press conference, macam Warisan belum decide yet to become opposition for the 17th assembly. Warisan so far, is seen making the decision to shake the tree and see if any fruit falls. But their main stance, is to continue going on as single solo party, it is working for them as despite their lost in some seats, they gained a very key support from the recently won DAP seats. Ground voices after post-mortem is very significant, they perceive and understood that they lost some seat due to "$ offerings" in certain districts, past candidates not properly dealt with and also some bebas was funded to just take some tickets away in fragile seats. Also a lot of Warisan-sympathizer (from voting not Warisan candidates) indicating that Shafie is very experienced and well spoken, with the repeated message of "Uniting Sabahans". That's what I gathered so far. Not sure about other parties since was not there too. You are right, Warisan is trying to shake the tree and see if any fruit falls. But their main stance is still going single solo party. They seem to be very content with what they have gained, but was disappointed not to be able to do better.i mean that last minute plot twist about alberto revealing the plot to bring Jiji and frens under the control of feds is kinda yikes... pkr as usual bullying their way to get what they want and theres plenty of evidence of this behavior in volatile discussions during seat negotiations with GRS. Some grassroots wants inclusion of BN (met with resistance); and STAR (same, with resistance) due to the concern that the BEBAS cannot be locked down and may sway therefore they need the seat security (same logic as odd hour swearing in). UPKO was also not fully trusted due to their past relationship with Warisan. But there are also voices that do not want BN/STAR/PH to be included - focus on BEBAS, KDM and UPKO as they worry that having peninsula party will slap back against S4S sentiment, while STAR is seen as Katak, as usual, may paint GRS as turning blind eye on corruption. |

PH memang is almost irrelevant already in this situation. They knew very well they not well versed in understanding local sentiment and wants. Therefore they depend mostly on DAP to retain. But that too, failed.Ori pkr members all lost. At most would be confident & supply IF they concedeonly then we can see where exactly Warisan stand gonna be. Either as opposition with Confident & supply agreement with GRS or join GRS. But otherwise, will just remain as pembangkang, work behind the scene Next 17SA should be expected within 30 days If got drama then would be longer |
