Hi guys,

May I know on average, how much would it cost to hire a plumber to install a new kitchen faucet? Mine is getting old and dripping, so I'm thinking of getting it replaced.

I live in Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

If u live in condo, no need plumber. Just pay the handyman (usually rm20). U can buy the faucet from Mr diy

If landed, perhaps u can ask ur neighbors

Plumber visit usually 50. Excluding parts and labour.

If u r hiring a plumber to do it, I suggest u go around your home and check if there's any other piping/ faucets / water fittings etc. that are old and might need replacements. Sekaligus do all rather than just change one faucet.

nowadays many simply quote RM100 minimum just to visit you, they will argue with you petrol price, vehicle maintenance, blah blah


if nearby got new condominium just VP, can go there find, usually the renovation/ defect worker there will take up additional work as extra income
