QUOTE(acbc @ Nov 30 2025, 09:47 AM) 80k for a shell? Battery cost like buying a new car. Need to go many gomen process to change, even need safety inspection too.Might as well sell Myvi or Alza without engines so customers can select and put their own engines inside. Perodua only need to make the kits for easy swap. |

QUOTE(Supreme1394 @ Dec 1 2025, 02:17 PM) This car definitely cannot sell at 80k, If 60k confirm sell like hotcake. Think people dumb meh spend 80k for car frame and cheap looking interior plastics. Battery is 30-50% total cost of EV (sos chatgpt), so car price should also be reflective of that since its BaaS. Actually P2 play tricky people all around. They said battery is leasing but compulsory to get the battery to buy the car. Apo taik punya marketing. |

QUOTE(ledtechn @ Dec 1 2025, 02:35 PM) P2 already stated Battery compulsory to be included to buy the car. So what is the leasing means? If this the case what is the point to state leasing, if it it still the same like you loan fully for the car. This post has been edited by danielmckey: Yesterday, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(WinkyJr @ Dec 1 2025, 03:50 PM) RM270/m for batt w min 9 years contract? Contract mean, cannot do full settlement earlier must finish the full 9 years month payment, is it? Bank banyak untung intesrest lor. Because next year gomen implement the new law to loan for abolition of the flat-rate and the "Rule of 78" interest calculation methods in favor of the fairer reducing balance method which is benefit to early settlement.aiyoooooo 'buy ev bro, cheap, charging cost very cheap, save earth also, + made by local for local maa, kasi support!' 'ok2 i buy, ehhh bro why kenot charge?' 'ah, i forgot, on top of charging cost, u also kena pay min RM270 every month for 9 years TO USE the batt' 'eh, but i already pay installment to bank?' 'ooooh, that one for body only, batt lain hutang maaa' |

QUOTE(Iceman74 @ Dec 1 2025, 07:39 PM) There will be a lot complication later. You have not seen how insurance company protect the company with so many terms and conditions you also dunno what to cover.Example If involved in accident, car minor problem, EV batteries got damaged, Claim under which 1? If batteries not under yr insured item list since it not own by you. How? If car total lost or major accidents but battery still OK. Need continue paying RM300/mth until end of 9 years? If battery technology getting better and cheaper, will replace better batteries or reduce the monthly amount? Will P2 keep it promise after 9 years can renew at certain prices? Or like others brand, charging absurd amounts to discourage sign up? |
