dont really get the point of the whole battery service thingy

why not just be simple and include the cost of the battery with the car just like every other EV? it's not like Nio's version of swappable battery also

unless there's a chance in the future to upgrade to a larger battery for more range, dont really see the point of this

one look at the interior and you know those plastics gonna be typical cheap Perodua type..... 80k for this?

the only pro for me is the exterior design really nice.... for a local car, this I really give credits to them

other than that dont see any reason why must get this EV instead of others....

I think if they use this design and rebadge some Toyota model like BZ4x maybe reception would be better... but Toyota probably don't allow kek, and Daihatsu don't have EV

Correct the only pros for this EV to me is that it proves our local designers still can come out with some decent design (some say they copy paste from several other designs but wtv.... every car brand doing this now)

Not sure where the powertrain came from unless I misread it, but the platform is developed with Magna Steyr

Battery is from CATL

Currently there's no Daihatsu EV for reference also.

EV development is faster, easier and cheaper than ICE

It's one of the reasons why China automotive industry skip ICE and go all in on EV

And why you can see so many new brands with EV even if they never made a car before

Did Perodua mention where the induction motor came from?

the mysterious part... we know chassis is from Magna, battery from CATL. but the the 2 other most important component for EV - the motor and BMS is unknown

Hopefully its efficient but doubt it
