You are right. This issue caused by solar radiation, meaning heat related. Quite a straightforward solution if there’s a space for insulation materials.

actually those who are familiar, Airworthiness Directives happens everytime doesn't matter it's Boeing Airbus Embraer etc....its just media making big of everything....

I have a friend in one of the small airlines in malaysia, he’s head of the technical team, bulletins like this is normal, and actually the best practice.

Isn't it a big thing because one flight had it happen mid-flight causing some injuries?
