Even demographics of Penang has changed through the years.
There are now many Muslim areas populated by workers from the Eastern states of Kelantan and Trengganu. Over the years, they will grow at a fast pace and the overall population demographics of Penang will change form the past Chinese dominance.
This has already happened in Sabah which was once Kadazan Dusun majority. No longer with project IC success which has seen the exponential growth of the Muslim population.
