We don't live their lives. Just because your fave party didn't win doesn't mean they made a bad call. Maybe your party's rep just didn't convince enough people. Even independent candidates can snag a win. In Sabah and Sarawak, it's super important to build a strong base. If folks don't know you, they probably won't vote for you, no matter what party you're with.

Looking at this nation's overall election scenario, I don hav a fav party, but oni vote for a moderate party that can hold off Malaysia's slide into chaos & extremism for sometime.

I don hav to live their lives, for them to make up their mind on wat they truly want on their lives. Sabahans hav been voting for decades on diferent party & coalition permutations, but jus look at their general condition in life for all that trouble.

Good governance comes from the people. Politicians simply strenghen whatever the people already have. Do Sabahans even hav an idea of wat that means?

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Nov 30 2025, 12:27 AM)
Harapan components ie DAP and PKR lose big

But their allies GRS and BN still won

A lot of DAP votes swing to Warisan

Anwar will be fine for now unless GRS and BN decide to backstab him
*
QUOTE(zidane28 @ Nov 30 2025, 12:31 AM)
No simple majority by any single party, BUT currently GRS has the most leverage thus Hajiji might become CM again.

For Anwar? Probably bad.

PH only win one even though Anwar turun padang sendiri.

DAP eat 8 eggs, total wipeout at chinese majority seats, so a big wake up call for DAP.

If DAP still have telur in their pants, probably will start become when they are in oppo which is to start jerit here and there and not diam2 anymore to recent scandals and also more PAS than PAS behaviours, so headache for Anwar.

If la, if not then just muka malu sahaja lo for Anwar for now.

Thanks guys, so the green wave momentum roughly the same or stronger now with this result???

PAS won a seat... concerning but not a huge problem for now

Again none of the parties have simple majority, so it depends whether GRS, BN, Warisan want to allign themselves with PH or PN

PAS historically won one seats in this election.

Worry? Not for now since this is Sabah.

But, I think if next PRU PH went down, it will be more than because of just green wave alone.

Today DAP loses already show a glimpse of it.

Wow, now Warisan +2 and BN -1 and GRS -1.

Looks like if Warisan can convince BN and UPKO, STAR and KDM, they can form the government without GRS, PKR, Independents and PAS.

Negotiations are ongoing among the winning parties and newly-elected independent assemblymen, with a new state government expected to be formed by the morning. FMT will be closing this page with this final update.

If Warisan allign themselves with PN wouldn't it mean betraying their voter base? Most voters who vote them dont like any semenanjung / wm party

Shafie is in good terms with PN. if want can ajak, not like they have bad blood. in Parliament, Shafie sits next to PAS MP.
