currently, i stick it to windscreen in the car with masking tape holding it in place (at adhesive side), work perfectly.

if i use back the original adhesive, meaning turn it the other way round, will this still work?

as long as you don't add on extra tint on your windshield later - it should work.

why people don't stick inside of their car is because of their tint

as long as the part where you stick it doesn't have tint obstructing it, it should work

Yup... some tint block everything.

Can always try first before permanently sticking it. sweat.gif

If you turn it the other way around, the toll pays you instead.

Toll operators hate this trick.

In other countries, service providers adapt for consumers. However, in this country, service provider insist consumers to adapt for service provider.

rfid stick inside windscreen work just fine except those with metallic tint.

9/10 RFID unable to detect on highway due to people innovation to stick the tag in location that hard to scan .. not to mention different toll tend to buy different scanner and install with different standard … so when it works in one toll may not on others …

I was one of the early adopter my rfid sticked by the tng agent, no issue using RFID till today, when TnG started to go live and let people stick their own, thats when all the reverse forward issue happening …

My personal experience, it works but less sensitive. Means you need to get closer to the RFID sensor by few feet for it to detect the RFID tag.

For maximum performance, sticker side have to face into car cabin.

What I do is use the roadtax sticker holder, put in the RFID tag(sticker side facing car cabin), then attach to the windscreen. I did cut the roadtax sticker to smaller size(couple of CM bigger than the RFID tag) and attach it to the top middle part of the windscreen. Has been working perfectly since then.

not for my case, i put my company rfid at upper side of tng rfid, no problem for both scanning.

mmhhh....speaking of this, i'm not really sure my company rfid recommended pasting is at outside or inside of cabin.
if it is outside, basically, i have proven the tag is actually sideless.

Well not really. It is actually the dumb operators who install the sensors differently, not standardised at all.

I am also an early adopter - mine was the firt gen rfid, installed by TnG themselves..
