its a nice pdaphone, battery life i found much better compared to the tytn2. I loved the rubbery plastic feel, impossible to get the usual hair line scratch marks compared to the normal plastic on other phones. weight wise excellent, size excellent. GPS functioned well.
The Touch Flo interfered with some gaming capability on some games, top right corner seemed unresponsive, but changing the orientation of the game fixed this, and even fixed the unresponsive right corner. weird.
Could run converted movies on my pda smoothly with no lag, but of course had to convert.
No problem with 8GB SDHC.
GPS was fairly quick.
3D accelerated games like Quake and Call of Duty was bad. very bad. unplayable.
Gameboy games on Touch Cruise was slower compared to Dopod D810 and P3600i.
I've read some complaints on LCD screen cracking but i had not the slightest problem. (coming from the me, the guy who cracked my d810 screen in half) must be noob users. XD

are u sure its free? some of those free ones u need password or accounts.
check your connection settings makes sure its "connects to the internet" and not "connects to my work place"

0_0 Joachim is that you...........i didnt know u were on LYN. Its called HTC Touch Cruise not Cruiser. lol.
The TC is not a finger print magnet due to its rubberised plastic, makes it micro scratch resistant (like u put on table after a while back cover can see sctaches, TC wont have) and its well insulated, so u wun feel much heat due to heavy usage or charges. Thats the one thing i missed about TC

have u tried cooked roms? at XDA developer forum. HTC wont be releasing 6.1 for cruise they already announced for sometime

simple. Its because they do not believe it cost effective. They have to pay for license of windows mobile 6.1 etc etc etc etc.
suns8360, u're wrong about them not recommending it, honestly, HTC really knows crap about modding pdas, their technicians dont know much, i've used 6.1 on Touch Cruise and no problem, damn fast.
Hell, even the cooked roms for tytn2 outperform the official rom. thats how sucky the official HTC roms are.
@jonrwg, google XDA developers forum and go download and read up on cooked roms

1. in the place where u type sms. go to menu > options, should be right softkey, untick "request message delivery nitifcation"
2. and 3. For both solutions head over to XDA Developers forum. google. solution is device specific and i cant remember how to do it for your phone but pretty easy.

the weather panel CAN be removed. as well as new tabs, up to 6 if i'm correct, can be added to your HTC Today. U need HTC Customiser or manually tweak registry. i've done it before.

huh. i see. when you uninstalled the dialer u must have really UNINSTALLED it instead of just changing the skin. u need a full cab install of the dialer instead of cab install of a DIALER SKIN. that's your problem
