Why not? Still got many rich people who willing to spend. They may not be so spend thrift like before, but doesn't mean they cannot spend on what they want. So many beauty treatment centers near my place alone, all concentrated into a small area. Imagine.

I used to frequent salon for haircut, I don't have a favorite but there's only like 2 or 3 places I go all the time. One time they asked if want massat see the hairdresser quite cute not exactly my type, I prefer more meaty but in a general sense her face is cute so I said ok. It was pleasant experience

Nowadays I go Malay hipster barber cause the cut is consistently better. I do miss the salon sometimes ngl

nothing wrong with balding(depending on your preference)

if you found yourself balding and you can accept going completely bald....it's fine, nothing wrong
but if you leave it half half like that, it's very bad looking...so it's either going bald and shave it off or go for hair implant(either yun nam or go turkey)

and depending on your line of work/profession

1. Certain face shapes are not suitable to be bald. i.e. pear or round shape faces. Google for celebrities before and after they go bald; some look weird. One good example is John Travolta.

2. The premature balding phase can make people look somewhat weird. Like a few strand of hair here and there and can’t really style it properly.
