Reminds me of that Incredible Hulk actor, first time hearing clear sound. No wonder he had strange accent because all his life the word spoken to him was not clear.

The cochlear nucleus one.
Can change battery if finish.

Kanso one once battery finish need to charge the whole thing.
Means no hearing while during charging.

Previously used Nucleus 5/6 then 2 years back fell down from genting down from slope. Bought Nucleus 8.

I thought fell into the drain, got passer by picked up and contact Cochlear HQ. By that time we already paid for the latest version for replacement. The audiologist said that model soon will be obselete.
So we trade in old one and get a bit discount.

New one much better, waterproof sweat without malfunction, can listen to music direct Bluetooth, use Apps control.

Deaf since birth?

If deaf since birth, I don't think the brain is capable to cope with the new sensory easily.

For me during small time.

My parents got record video of me keep taking off the magnet from the head.

Maybe too young to hear sounds for the first time.

Wow... That's great.
Latest is Kanso 3 /2 can direct stream to processor, super convenience, also can turn off background sound if you feel noisy, great features as well!!!

Yes can, there is accessories called Aqua+ can fit in the processor then go for swimming.

For diving not sure.

Usually I'm going swimming without the processor, I'm ok with silent environments.

Yeah, the audiologist said Kanso if low battery then can't wear.

2 years back, my audiologist said getting Nucleus Series better.
Once the processor thing rosak, need to get replacements.

How's the Kanso wearing? Not sure my audiologist got mention need to use some sort of hair clip something.

I was 2-4 years old wearing the 1st gen.
Then later 13 years old wearing the 2nd Gen
2 years back as the current one.

Only problem this model is button got harden maybe sweat too much.

I never go swimming since I not good with swimming.
Mine got aqua kit but need to purchase separately.
Not included in the kit.

I also use direct stream, if phone connect Bluetooth directly.
If PC use this thing.

PC - - - Phone Clip - - - Processor

Since PC don't have that Bluetooth special support.

Since talk got microphone. I mainly use to listen to music, watch anime, video call.

This is why everyone with children should take their children to do hearing test. Many cases whereby the children has bad pronunciation is actually due to hearing problems and not really learning disabilities.
