Thinkpad indeed a good brand. My first job using this machine and stuck even since and now im on X1 Carbon. I have 2 old thinkpad running at home and one of it never turn off /rest since 2017 (x260) in my mini server room.

RM195 is fair price assuming the machine still running. Ignore cosmetic state because Thinkpad aren't build for pondan to showoff while drink coffee at starbucks.

3rd gen can run Linux with KDE. I'm using KDE neon and Kubuntu with 16GB RAM and SSD. Smoother than sex.

My 4th gen Precision M6800 is a Linux file server with 3 internal and 5 external drives. Ran 24x7. Don't care because the laptop already badly abused by the previous owner so very expensive to restore.

Thinkpad's are shitty whenever it cracks. It spreads like cancer. My last thinkpad began with a small crack at the charging port and eventually the whole port cannot be used anymore.

Donasi a few to my Pucheong community. Even bought a few refurbished sets to donasi. No point buy new if just for learning and surf net. Off course set higher level of web access or unkers and kids surf porn, online games and kena scammed.

Some poorer schools also require refurbished sets that you can donasi, mostly below 1k. Do good once awhile if you hv extra money.
