Was there some time back. The water was clear with small fish swimming around, but there's lots of algae/moss at the bottom which gives the river a greenish tint. As for toxic waste, the 30sen/entry toilets at Melaka Sentral were awash in several inches of it.

The river is from bukit tampin, crosses tampin town, cross ayer Keroh and the entire melaka. Then someone here dare say the water is clean lolllll.

For jetski ... it is common to do a on the spot U-turn right? of course it was a bad situation to do directly in front of another rider...that he knows is closely following him. anyhow... hopefully he is fine after 2 panadol.
