It looks like a stunt, but this is a real towing technique used when there's no other way to move two damaged cars at once
Tow operators in certain regions use this method when they're dealing with low-value or wrecked vehicles destined for scrapping or recycling.
Instead of calling a second truck, they use a combination of hydraulics, tilt-angle control, and precise winching to safely "nest" one car on top of another, turning a flatbed into a temporary two-level carrier.
The reason it works is because the flatbed can lock into very specific angles. That lets the upper vehicle's wheels settle into stable positions while the operator slowly lifts and aligns the platform. The lower car's frame can handle the load at those points, and the driver keeps everything balanced through controlled, incremental movement.
It's a surprisingly efficient method in places where tow teams handle large volumes of damaged vehicles and need to maximize each recovery run.
