I generally steer clear of a 200M area around any heavy vehicle. It's high risk and you want to minimise any time spent in that area.

The vehicle itself is a risk with possible stones flying.
And traffic generally slows around the vehicle which encourages reckless driver behaviours taking risks to overtake.
