Guys,
Peranakan is descended from Malay women and Chinese men...
how about the other way round.... Chinese women and Malay men .... is there a specific label given for them?
This is wrong. Peranakan Chinese does not mean mixed Chinese. It means Chinese who adopted part of Malay culture such as language, architecture and food - very common amongst Penang and Melaka early Chinese settlers.Peranakan is descended from Malay women and Chinese men...

Any Chinese who decides to marry Malay will almost always become Malay, whether today or hundred of years ago.
There's a reason why most Peranakan Chinese descendants are still "Chinese" today. Because they never married into Malay families.
To prove my point, a 2021 genetic study Singapore's Peranakan Chinese have Malay ancestry, with an average of 5–10%. So you see, only 10% of Peranakans have Malay ancestry.
