KUALA LUMPUR: The driver of a Range Rover Velar, seen in a viral video driving dangerously along the Sungai Besi Highway, has tested positive for drugs.

City Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the 32-year-old man tested positive for a combination of synthetic drugs.

"He tested positive for ketamine, methamphetamines and amphetamines.

"An Evidential Breath Analyser test to determine if he was also under the influence of alcohol came back negative," he said when contacted today.

The man is currently being held at the Dang Wangi police headquarters to assist in further investigations.

It was reported that motorists were left shocked when a man continued driving a luxury SUV on a bare rim after a rear tyre burst, ignoring repeated warnings from other road users.
