My car axia 3 years got issues in brek. Sometimes brek will have sound especially when weather hot. Already send multiple times to shop to fix it. But still got issues. They just adjust the rear brek.. how to solve this problem?

Check the pads and disc or drum first.

Is it warranty for new car those parts 3 years only? My car next mth will due 3 years. Perodua centre said check but nothing found out. Annoying when brek sound came out. Just scare might accident occur

Pads are not warrantied items. If the car no longer under warranty, take it elsewhere for second opinion.

The rear brake is it disc brake rotor or drum brake? 😳🐝

left side at the back izzt? maybe rust jam the piston..try send to workshop for servis..usualy left side becoming bad because the left side road water pool splash inside the brake piston and rust..tips ask the mecanic to rub grease to the piston b4 install ..greatly reduce the rust happend.

Last time the Myvi i am driving also had rear brake noise issue. More like clunking noise after release hand brake and move.

So one day I went to shop to change the rear pads. Open up and there are way to much brake dust stuck inside. They use compressed air to clean it up. Then used brake cleaner to further clean the little pump. Also regreased some moving parts. Then the clunking noise went away.

Not sure the workshop no mention. They oso dunno wht wrong

They said already done some cleaning. Maybe it time to change rear pad to solve the issue 😔

Not quite sure left or right just heard is from back car. This week will send again to workshop. Hopefully solve problems soon

drum brake? what sound is it?

Ermm got part broken. It's a small rubber thing according to one of my friends having the same issue. Just replace that thing. The workshop will know what to do.

If rear using brake drum, the solution clean it and replace it with new brake shoe (brake pad for rear) 😁🐝

becos u mention wrong keyword. cleaning/ checking no improvement. sc ppl lazy one.
should ask for SERVICE DRUM BRAKE

They will say no need service as they already clean it and find it nothing wrong which no need to service brake drum.. They got 1001 reasons.. No wonder some people tend to void the warranty and send it to outside workshop that they trust and can solve the problem 🙄❄️🐝🚀🐝

You need to apply a bit of brake grease at the hinges where the pads slot on to the retainer clip.

99% of workshops don't do this.

perodua sc checking/ cleaning no labour charge. service brake got charge.
so far below rm50, i satisfy after job done

It depends on the sc, some sc lots of complaint, good sc must do good job
