Tarak sidai. They were asked to use other methods of cooling for example air cooled dan sebagainya.

Just remember general rule is data centres consume 10% of country's energy and water resources but contribute only 1% GDP.

They hire less workers than 1 random AEON department store.

Yup, Johor charge its house citizen 💦 water waayy too cheap.

It is time to level up, add up 20% from normal charge won't harm any residents....
*
should at least 3x the price. still very cheap compare to what other place in the world charges

Like the dam of the Dutch Zuiderzee project 👍

Wow damming the Zuiderzee with a 32km dam was done in 1932, really amazing.
And near the Sg Johor river mouth is only <4km wide, so should be feasible.
New data centers could be built beside the river on the Pengerang side with cheaper land, water n solar energy.
Can also have floating fishery farm, chalet.

Not to air cool the chip directly but rather the coolant/refrigerant condenser to be air cooled. How to reliably disperse the heat without baking the surrounding area though.

I'm now doing proposal for air chiller & close loop cooling tower in Johor. The ahu condensate water will be recycled .

Not feasible for the amount of heat data centers produce. Air is a bad conductor of heat, that's why they use water evaporation instead as it removes tons more heat. But of course the downside is you lose a lot of water through evaporation.
