Ayam don't live there, but it's nearby and along the way from/to work travel.

It might be happening, but only to certain level. The traffic is bad especially on wednesday (pasar malam)

how much you r going to spend? 50k or 800k?.. if the latter, better spend a day off to check the situation.. most of the time, weekends or weekdays , traffic moves acceptably...only peak weekdays ( morning n evening), it's a nightmare..unless you use a bike

Jalan Connaught (Salak expressway) all the way to federay highway or Mid Valley megamall, during weekdays peak hours 7.00am to 10.00am is crawling jam, very slow moving even though it's a 3-lane highway, usually emergency lane also packed full becomes 4 lane packed line sardines during peak hours. It's normal during weekdays. To avoid the jam, leave early from home at 6.30am or earlier.

To be frank, all roads will be jammed up during peak hours heading to KL as it's a norm already, not only from Taman Connaught.

Ya, too many road interchanges and major bottleneck adjacent to Mid Valley side. These are daily occurence. I think LDP PJ also has the similar or worst scenario.

pro-tip, remember to do some homework on your potential immediate neighbours - never trust the first handshake and smile, even the same skin tone can be a greater pain the bum than you'd expect.

Where's ur work place?

It's central, as in you get to PJ / kajang / kl very convenient.

jam during weekdays , 7-9+am, as a lot ppl go to work in PJ sure passby there.

Wednesday got pasar malam.

Grocer, cinema, malls, all very close by. Food option also a lot.

i'm from cheras (moved to semenyih 8 years ago)

i'd much rather live in taman desa, further up the road and posher environment. most importantly you skip most of the deadlock traffic leading up to midvalley.

Yes it's a norm already this Salak expressway from Kajang/Taman Connaught all the way to Mid Valley megamall or the federal highway heading to PJ or KL. I think it has been this way since 15 or 20 years ago. It's a norm to motorists using this highway early in the morning when going to work. I am just a little amazed many people can afford to get stuck in the traffic for many hours in the morning, a 5 km route may need more than 1 hour during these peak hours, or 10 km travel requiring 2 hours. Perhaps some of these people don't have a clock-in time and can afford to be late when clocking-in to the office.

I agree with Taman Midah

It has more of a serene vibe and less hectic

Taman Connaught is okay, but like the rest of the comments have said, do get ready for the jam there

Even on Sunday 10pm there might still be jam

But of course if you like it, then its no issue
