My friend took a RM500 loan (only received RM375) from Tambadana and now he do not want to repay the loan citing he did not sign the agreement sent by Tambadana. He wants to get free money (Don't ask me why I have this kind of friend ) I did some checking and could not verify whether Tambadana is actually regulated under BNM. Only on their website, it said they could hire debt collectors to collect on their behalf upon default. Any idea what actions they could potentially take? My friend is adamant that it is free money now

QUOTE(party @ Dec 13 2025, 06:16 AM) They are. Ask your friend dont repay for a year. It will be free nightmare for him very soon. QUOTE(arkasi @ Dec 13 2025, 06:17 AM) Your friend must be a fucking moron thinking he no need to pay back money from what is basically a ah long. Ah long can cheat u but u can.never cheat ah long unless u have a death wish. Doesn't matter legit or illegal, your friend will be screwed either the legit way if he's unlucky or if really unlucky the illegal way. Cut off your ties with your friend as this type will only bring u trouble. Thx for the replies. I will persuade him to repay the loan.
