QUOTE(lj0000 @ Nov 13 2025, 12:33 PM) call the center and request for waiver If this doesn't work Call for card cancellation. Guarantee they'll waive the annual fee for TS to stay another year.

Wonder why no auto waive annual fees Same here, i have been using Uxx CC for more than 15 years, all these while enjoy auto annual fee waiver. Suddenly this year the customer officer said they have changed the T&C, need to swipe 24 txn per year. Since i mostly swipe on cash back CC. Decided to terminate those non cash back CC as i used it mostly for auto debit deductions.

Wonder why no auto waive annual fees CC and banks are like rapist they'll slowly put their D in to see if you'll react. i no reaction, and you pay the annual fee by mistake, they'll continue thrusting. also, i think banks stop giving for life annual fee waiver. probably just the first year or two and they start charging annual fees after that.

i think the fee waiver was hot some time ago when many rejected using credit cards..so banks became creative.. that generation have become old and no longer use their CC or small transactions.. banks now see gen Z as big spenders and trying to catch them.. so make CC as a thing only rich can afford..

I was charged 'Service Tax' amounting to RM25. I believe this is the annual fee? I'm not sure if I paid this yearly but last year November 2024 statement it's there. I'll check again end of this month 2025.
