 Can request TNB check meter before tukar nama?

The old way is let-it-be, with the water bill and electricity bill still under previous house owner.

Nowadays, all these can be taken care by the lawyer. The house seller will just need to sign some forms and lawyer will get the names changed. And the lawyer will request the latest bills to check if there's any outstanding amounts... before the lawyer finally release the last payment to the house seller.

Do them step by step.... house seller terminates the utilities accounts and get back the deposits. Then only new account is created.

Indah water, you pay... because they invoice 3 or 6 months in advance.

Cukai tanah of course will be cleared before the land title is amended, pejabat tanah not stupid.

oh can do this? ask the old owner to cut the electricity means the TNB will come to disconnect their fuse and leave the house without the electric supply, close the old account, after that reapply New one and pay TNB deposit ?
