🇲🇾🇮🇹| According to a professor from Malaysia, Is it true that the Romans learned to build ships from the Malays? 🤔

Based on available research, there is no strong evidence that the Roman Empire specifically learned shipbuilding from the Ancient Malays. Here's a detailed explanation.

Why the claim "Romans learned shipbuilding from the ancient Malays" appears to be untrue

1. No documents, archaeological, or historical records have been found that clearly demonstrate that the Romans acquired their shipbuilding technology from the Malays. These claims often appear as legends or modern interpretations, and are not supported by adequate scientific evidence.

2. Interaction routes between Rome and Southeast Asia did exist (through trade in India and the Indian Ocean), but direct technical influence on Roman shipbuilding from Malay technology has not been proven.

3. Many such claims are classified as "myths" or "unverified hypotheses" in studies of the history of maritime relations.

Therefore, the statement:

"The ancient Romans learned shipbuilding from the ancient Malays" - cannot be considered a proven historical fact. It is more appropriately described as a hypothesis or interpretation that still requires further evidence.

From the pass "information" from these professor, the malays might really been able to teach the romans how to build ships

You guys still remember their Kunlun people can fly? Yes they fly from malay land to the world and romans saw and beg them to teach them their knowledge

The malays seeing how sincere the romans are and they teach them how to build ships

True or not also sad,

If true, now we didn't inherit that talent and that's sad

If false, that's even worse
