If im not mistaken about Zenso they are major in Switches. I didnt know they got smart door lock series but looking from the pictures, most likely they are OEM from China.

If you're concern about the longevity, should just walk-in lighting retail stores and see what products they provided, as they are more reputable and more quality. And the most important is, you can easily source service or new replacement from the store.

FYI im using Imitos & reTouch power track for 2 years, tak da masalah je. Smart door lock im using Aqara facial recognition version.

I see. A check from Zenso, yea...it is not compatible with Google Home. I had a check on Xiaomi, i thought it is China version only but apparently got international version.

I saw this YetPlus brand in Puchong famous lighting houses and also HomePro, so I thought it is a brand that many are using and surprised to know people typically only mentioned Retouch or Eubiq.

Smart door lock doesnt necessary to have internet-linked function. But for the price(RM600+) you buying, i expected it comes with additional function(can remote online)

They all have Global version, that comes with local distributor warranty higher price point(also some included installation).
You dont have warranty coverage when purchase from taobao/china platform, and need to hire installation separately.

Retouch and Eubiq are pioneer in this industry since a decade ago. But with recent getting more OEM brands coming in Malaysia, I guess the the pricing are getting more competitive as you can easily source the same product from different places.

I'm one of their ex staff. couldn't accept their working culture and the boss asked me to take off lol

their product is Malaysian made but the thing is they are lazy to innovate further. wherever i asked and compare with china products, I'll get red eyes everywhere. their products are kind of hard to install and configure. not like china mature IoT products, user friendliness just feels much better.
