Of course not. The 70B isn't anything meaningful as it is still Llama 3-based version. RTX Pro 6000 can't even run the real 671B, and still a tad slow for 70B due to crazy memory bandwidth requirement.
This card is still useful for MoE models, like GPT-OSS 120B / GLM 4.5 Air (106B-A12B) as prefill processor. With MoE layers offloaded to RAM, you just need a dual channel DDR5 (best with high speed XMP/EXPO) and you will run GPT-OSS 120B at reasonable speed. You still need Threadripper to have quad channel memory for GLM 4.5 Air, though.

Dont buy at the precipice of innovation, you will ragret like buying sacd player, laserdisc, first gen ev.
In a few years time you can make your high school crush do sexy dance with a 5-6k card that you can only do now with nvidia blackwell cluster

You call it shit card but China is harvest them by the pallets & cargo loads. And setting up farms with these makes brute forcing AI gen possible and financially more reasonable than RTX Pro cards (which also have no resale value once AI boom goes bust, just as crypto bust flooded used with gaming RTX cards).

It’s 17k a pop, runs out of vram right away on unreal engine slops and will be obsolete in 3 years time when nvidia introduces some new texture rendering trick that needs new architecture.
What’s popular doesn’t mean it’s good. Back in 1940 people were very excited over mustache man.
They’re not know for great tastes, I mean, their youth goons over unity engine girls in sleeveless qipaos and their homegrown tv show is just aura farming 90% of the time and god tier graphics from throwing money.
