You can print it out from myjpj app if you want. You can pay RM5 to get a laminated piece of paper (no photo, like the old old laminated driver license) from JPJ counters if you want something physical.

You can also pay more and bring 'proof of traveling/driving overseas' to JPJ to get the hard license card. Different JPJ different procedure last I check. There are many threads about this already, you can search it up.

Otherwise, it's all online now. Renewal very easy via the app.

If want to renew like normal (not for I.D.P reason), you sure can get that laminated without photo version for RM5? Available at selected branch only? Because many people have said whether JPJ or post office, they don't do that anymore. They will tell if u want to see your license, login app to see digital version.

Not sure about now but there was still the option to pay extra RM5 online earlier this year when I renewed. It wasn't at selected JPJ branch, it was an option to tick when you renew online.

Maybe they change again now and no longer available. I didn't bother with it this year because I felt that it was completely unnecessary and useless lol. I got it for my parents when I renew their license early last year.

(i) Lesen Kenderaan Motor (LKM) = Motorised Vehicle License (Car Road Tax to most but literal translation is "Car/Motorcycle License")
(ii) Lesen Memandu Kompeten (CDL) = Competent Driving License

When the title says "Car License" - then most assumption is (i) because of license of the car, not the driver.

Better to renew and request for a physical card.
Head on to the JPJ HQ (i.e. Padang Jawa or Wangsa Maju).
