This is "eisbein mit sauerkraut" which is northern germany (usually Berlin area) and is slow cooked, not your usual "schweinshaxe" available in most of germany which is roasted

Despite the looks, it really taste much better

It gets stale pretty quick, I enjoy the Christmas market in Munich second after Vienna.

Christmas markets in Germany, I like Duesseldorf and Dresden, and like the Vienna christmas market, it is VERY crowded

Bratislava Christmas market, although small is quite nicely decorated and is probably the least stressful christmas market (because not touristy)

Yes Bratislava is underrated, it's a hidden gem. Spent two nights there when I was driving from Budapest to Vienna. The locals don't speak much English as in other cities, but beautiful places and people still.

That's why it is nice. It's not very touristy.
