Unifi give me this "modem router" after I done the upgrade with them.

The new router, won't assign an IPv4 to my copier even it is connected through LAN Cable.
But if connect the copier though a wifi extender using same LAN cable, IPv4 will be assigned to the copier.

Connecting the copier on Port 2,3,4 none working. doh.gif doh.gif
BUT
When connect a PC to LAN port 2,3, PC will online and able to have interest.

Anyone have this issue before ? Anyway to fix it ?

I tried 2, 3, 4.
None working.

Login to tmadmin checked.
Port 4 does not have the tick.
Port 1,2,3 does have the tick.

Did you check your Canon if it is set to fixed IP address or not? By default it should not but probably it has been accidentally set. I think this has separate setting for WiFI and LAN port

The copier DHCP is on.
What I do is assign the IP to the copier in the old unifi router.

The copier does not hav a wifi connection.
Only LAN Port. sweat.gif

You get me confused here. You said:

But if connect the copier though a wifi extender using same LAN cable, IPv4 will be assigned to the copier.

Now you are telling that the does not have WiFi connection.

Opss. It was through WiFi extender. My bad.

So, previously you set your copier to a fixed IP address and now you have your copier set to DHCP and did not get the IP address? Maybe it is still set to static address. Double check on that.

You can try reset your copier to default again or you can just give an IP address to your copier manually. See if this works.

On the printer panel, go to:

Settings/Registration > Preferences > Network Settings > TCP/IP Settings > IPv4 Settings

Check IP Address Settings — if it says Auto or DHCP

Not sure if the menu is exactly like above laugh.gif

Technician for the copier company already checked the copier.
He changed the LAN card of the copier.
Swap the LAN cable with a new one.

The technician confirmed the copier has no problem, is the new router problem. sweat.gif
Now there must be a wifi extender act as a "proxy".

Why not call Unifi on the problem. They will get you new one while send someone for confirmation. smile.gif

I think you should untick one of the LAN port in the router setting. LAN4 is untick because it is reserved for IPTV

I believe Canon copier let you to choose the Ethernet speed, try to change that to 10 / 100 / 1000 and see which one able to work

Worst case scenario is to just add a cheap Ethernet switch, it should solve the issue and being more reliable than WiFi repeater

As far as I know Unifi is no more using dedicated VLAN 600 on port. Everything is like normal Internet port since Internet service nowadays has more bandwidth I think. All new box has no dedicated VLAN now.
