To use like this, is there a need to isolate the home power supply from TNB? Need any special equipment or it's a feature available as long as we install wallbox?

v2h you'll need special car charger outlet that support v2h or generator outlet and
switch over circuit with specific load calculated according to car specified max output

v2l is just a single device, all you need is the v2l adaptor cable and plug in your device,
you can use power extension rated to match the car specified max output and
plug in to power multiple devices as long as it does not exceed the car specified max output

example from byd seal from facebook max output is 2.4kW,
so you can plug in max one device load that doesn't exceed 2.4kW or total devices cannot exceed 2.4kW
but 2hp aircon might be risky, if it's non inverter old 2hp aircon it can easily exceed 2.4kW
your car does have safety net built in will stop providing electricity, but it's better not overly rely on it

from guugle: The BYD Seal's maximum V2L output is 3.6 kW AC, although some sources specify 2.4 kW or 3.0 kW, so it's best to check the specific model's specifications.

Thank you for explaining. I remember reading something about V2L vs V2H, so was confused when I read someone wrote we can power whole house lighting with V2L.

with v2l you can get generator outlet and switch over circuit but for a mere 3.6 kW or lower load
and for situation like once in a bluemoon black out is it worth it? better just use v2l adaptor and extension cable lah

if it's v2h then it's worth the money because you're talking about the full dc power from car to your house directly
the only limit is the inverter that come with the special car charger outlet used to convert dc to ac from car to your house
and the battery size of your car limiting how long you can turn your aircons

but v2h is still very new, even if your car has capability doubt it's enabled, because it need regulatory approval & standardisation
even right now most of the countries are just in test beta or v2h to house battery only, except japan

one person i know was in the ford v2h program in maryland pewpewpew country, he was able to power his full house ac for 10 hours straight
with 60% battery capacity left
