So TM sent me the new unifi plus black box and messaged me to install myself. I just unplug all cable from old unifi white box and connect to new unifi black box. Should be easy right? But it gives me this message "Your ethernet cannot reach internet." What is the problem? If I connect back to the old white box, no issue. Do I need configure/change anything in my router ka? Or this new black box can only connect using Wifi?

QUOTE(AV_2018 @ Oct 15 2025, 01:41 PM) If you want to use the same port as the old one, you need to remove the VLAN 600 tagging in router settings. New box is using Internet, no more special IPTV port. Alternatively, follow jusbella's advice above. Wah, unifi no longer use the port4 for TV ka? How come no news on this? ok I try use port 3. Update later. If use port 3 will not compete with my internet download? Last time I remember old unifi got this problem, if heavy download will make the TV lag. QUOTE(AV_2018 @ Oct 16 2025, 11:55 PM) Will compete with Internet download. So far for years I used a router with good QoS and download does not affect Netflix, YouTube, Unifi TV or other streaming. When I do download or speedtest while streaming video, the download or speedtest speed will drop and give way to the streaming when it loads the next chunk of content. If not using router with good QoS then I guess the video quality will drop or playback will lag when downloading, unless TM have some QoS somewhere. Good news, port 3 works. But now trouble news, do I need to set QOS for port 3?

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Oct 18 2025, 11:01 AM) Best you do so........however hereby lies the issue, if you enable QOS, you will break NAT Acceleration....... So you must pick.....you want bandwidth or latency? Note: Above doesn't apply for native IPv6. What is best QOS speed to set for unifi tv?
