Hi,

I have two cars, the one that I’m selling has a number plate that I want to keep.

How can I transfer that to my other car before I put the first one up for sale?

Basically I want to switch the plates between the cars.

The car that I am selling is older (2011) than the car that I’m keeping (2014)

Just saw its between old vehicles, so cannot.

So you will need to get runner at moto shop to do the transfer for you.

Honestly unless it a vip number plate, its not worth the hassle.

Use runner and do interchange using motorbike

Think your car needs to go Puspakom also

If it's not a special number plate, not worth it

Thanks all for the info. I guess not worth it. The number is not a vip plate but a 3 digit number which would cost around 3-4k if I buy it again.

actually can:
1) buy the new model of the car you want to keep (or just get a new car in general).
2) transfer the old plate number you want to have to this new car, and get a new plate number for the old car.
3) sell off the 2 older cars

Old to old - not possible.

Old to unregistered (new / recond) - ok

If you really like the number, just buy a cheap China motorcycle. Interchange to that motorcycle. Then can sell the old car.

Just buy your new car, transfer and reg with your old triple digit plate to it.

After that is done, sell that old car with a new reg plate.

Unless the number worth it ... otherwise, forget about it.

When I sell my car. The number worth as my car value.
Buyer buy my car only because of the car plate number.

Lol cannot be done if not buying a new vehicle to interchange.

Unless there's a special trick that we are not aware of.
