the speed still slow

I thought the downloading speed of the uTorrent 1.8 version was way better than the previous version. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get to forward the port for the uTorrent 1.8 version after a reformation on my computer. However, when I tried the previous version, uTorrent 1.78, everything seems to be working just fine. I wonder what’s going on. Anyone had the same experience?

my utorrent speed can only reach maximun 30, always lingering aroung 15-25... is it bad ? i heard some forumers said their speed can top 90? which port do u use? do i need to change anything at the setting ? i'm using maxis broadband by the way..

make sure you enable protocol encryption

Sorry, but I didn't read every page of this thread but when I downloaded uTorrent 1.8 BETA, my highest download speed is only 30kb/s, I'm using Streamyx 1MBPS. Can I bypass the throttle?

It's already enabled, there are about 5000 seeders and 2500 leechers (not sure how many in swarms), please take note there are 5 computers surfing the NET at the same time while it's torrenting. Any ideas on how to increase the speed? I don't mind any shareware speed boosters.

Nice when downloading torrent. got around 50kbps - 120kbps transfer rate.
