Salam and Hi to all, my PS3 was unable to read disk. Bought it on May, 2007 this year. Played it less then 74 hours but suddenly it cannot detect disk. I've sent it to the shop where I bought my PS3, and the technician said because my ps3 is still under guarantee he must send it to S'pore and I need to wait for 2 to 3 months to repair it. I dont want to wait for that long, so I want to repair here in KL M'sia so I can collect it a.s.a.p.

Anyone in KL M'sia know how to fix it? Pls me a.s.a.p.

Anyway, not sure could fix a PS3 as of now. Maybe you could ask Bernard Moh?

If really can't fix, I guess your only choice would be sending it over to S'pore to fix? Don't think there are people who dares to fiddle with the PS3 at the moment

If my post does not help, wait till later in the morning when the others are awake to assist you on this.

Ok Bro, I did ask a few people including Bernard just now regards on my problem. I think they a still asleep rite now. Must wait till morning then.

I did read this thread >>> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/507787 and find out that if I want to repair my PS3 I must sent it to HK, not to S'pore as what the technician said to me. Because my PS3 is HK set, so HK set must sent to HK. So if Iwant to sent to HK the cost is so expensive lorrr.

I would prefer to repair it here in M'sia because it much more cheaper compare to sent it to HK. But anyway thanks for your concern Bro.
