The flotilla mission has succeeded then. Since you are opening a thread here.

If you read the history of the flotilla, and the website, you will understand. The first mission was done as early in 2008.

Of course they already know they will be intercepted. They are doing it to raise awareness upon the world for this conflict. This is not just Malaysia alone, but multiple countries around the world.

The gaza people are living in an open prison , under occupation and beseiged .even before oct 7 2023. government of the world have failed the palestinians .

Hence the flotillas are sending a message to the palestinians, telling "you are not alone in this world" . It lifts their spirit .

I see, I don't know about this Flotilla mission and only got to know after I watch the news and headlines which reported it, especially the foreign minister Mohamad Hasan who went live on TV3 several days ago sharing on the government's effort in the release of the first batch of Malaysian activists. He said that he had to 'work overtime' since the PM himself is working hard in getting the activists released which cracks me up.

So if the Flotilla mission has started in 2008, I presume there were no cases of activists in the mission getting injured or killed. Otherwise nobody would continue with the mission in 2025.

there is. read up about mavi marmara case . these kind of flotilla is high risk.

after the mavi marmara case, the activist were given proper training - that's why if u see all of the interception video, it always the same pattern and SOP. life vest on, hands on the air, throw phone, .

last time on mavi marmara there were violence, then the IDF decide to straight up shoot to kill instead of just immobilizing /arresting them .

to get a more understanding on the matter, read up or follow the ZRA (zainal rashid ahmad) . This figure is legendary in malaysia, back in those days, he infiltrated palestine under israel and did a documentary that was on majalah 3 . very old documentary. but still relevant to this day
