it is better you add another AP with LAN cable.. It is normal for high rise apartment to have lower reception of wifi because neighbour wifi also using same channel and thick wall of course. Will a purchased router have better signal strength?
it is horrible to use 5G if you are high rise especially more than 10th level as signal is worser.
