Honestly with the current strawberry generations, most teachers nowadays still stay teaching due to it's a government job and they entitled for pension.

If teachers are not part of the government staff, I'm sure there will be massive resignation among teachers in Malaysia.

In US, teachers are not government employee. A lot of teachers in US resigned due to students & parents attitudes. Salary also not worth with the workload they have to carry.

Heck I've read some of the posts by American, they can earn more by working as a bartender than working as a teacher.
