Let’s be real, the only reason is that people are not able to separate domestic politics with international politics. The grievances from domestic issues like systematic racism and racing politics had blinded people’s judgment. This causes irrational and unsympathetic behaviour towards overseas issues, especially those in the middle east.

The elites want the local minorities to act this way and be divided so they can continue to play racing and maintain their status quo. The smart way is for the minorities to view themselves as the oppressed and use it to dispel the hypocrisy of the current racial based policies. This movement could rally those from the majority and lead to hopeful changes. But now we are just being played by the politicians and the elites, including those from the minorities like always.
