it sucks to wake up everyday, read the news and see bad shit happening.

i agree that material possession and brand chasing is not helping.

but i think this stems from a myriad of issues, not just this.

can't speak for other countries but for us, we seem to be self-segregating more and more. not just between different races, even in my own circle, people are stabbing each other's backs, thinking themselves more superior than others.

it's sad to see tolerance is no longer a common trait. but can't change others, we start with ourselves first, we are full of faults ourselves.

Take care of yourself, and loved ones, first, last and always. Get ahead, stay ahead and shit on others before others shit on you. Tolerance, and toleration, and give and take, only make you seem weak and you'll get eaten in the blink of an eye. Remember, good guys FINISH LAST. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

This is how you survive today's world.

My take is bad news sells better than good news. There are good things happening around us as well, just that those news don't get the views.

Having said that, there are more bad news than usual and people are driving crazier on the road.

People are stress, working more and more just to make ends meet

The financial system failed us and it's just gonna get worst

Those that are already poor are getting hit the hardest.

This. And I think it becomes an echo chamber. Reading bad news makes ppl angrier, fueling rage and hate, which in turn causing more bad things.

I stopped using FB years ago, and stopped participating in some Watsapp chatgroup as I noticed its full of negativity.

Orz dunno why I go recover /K login

it feels like such a old man thing to say but socmed really fucks with our brain and perception. too much dopamine, and you need to scroll more to get the same hit.

its causing us to dissociate with real lives and values.

its such a stupid thing but reminds me of the oompa loompa mike teevee song from the 1974 willy wonka movie. we should read more books and less screentime.

Is still the same back then, is just that back then there is no social media and no convenient communication app, when one guy in your circle did something stupid, he just show u the 3GP stored in the W910 at mamak. Want to share also susah, back then only certain few got BT, and the BT transfer speed still at it's infancy, if transfer using infrared that gonna take forever.

I really hate car crash in malaysia. for me, majority if not all, car crash in malaysia can be avoided. once accident, will create traffic jem. I hate sit in unnecessary traffic jem. but malaysia dont care how to drive properly. how to take their car condition properly and how to take care their health properly. all these contribute to car accident.
