Astro terus ditekan trend pengguna tamatkan langganan

I moved from TV to ASTRO to avoid ads;
when astro starts increasing the ads, I moved to netflix,
If netflix starts adding ads, I will move back to piracy,

Fuck greed. Piracy is the way.

Yes that's why you will get cheaper price compared to non-maxis / non-hotlink subscriber. which normally priced at RM4x.xx. You will get RM25 if you are hotlink / maxis subscriber.

The irony... and when gomen allowed Astro to sue the shit out of illegal android box sellers and occasionally the kantoi-ed purchaser, we butthurt kpkb giving excuse about consumerism and rights of freewill.

We know this

But doesn't stop people who have no grasp of reality (and history) from reminiscing about the "good old days" via rose tinted lenses and complaining about "sohems" these days and raging on why Japan "no learn from history"

Astro could not pivot fast enough, when netflix came swinging with OTT, they just stood and watch. Their digitalization efforts definitely wasted - too many still stuck on the imagination that their tvbox is still valuable.

Their customer service really sucks. My mum have been subscribing for over 20 years. Recently I wanted to give them more business by signing up astro fibre so that I can have one service provider. I terminated my celcom fibre and applied for Astro fibre. Initially everything went fine until their validation process and they discovered my mum existing account. So the validation team decided to cancel my application straight away. I decided to check with unifi TV and found out not only is it cheaper you get more free channels like HBO etc which you had to pay extra but free with unifi.
