If proven and confirmed true, this is shameful, doctoring documentation is like forging your report card scores before letting your parents sign, thinking they won't find out? FAM must prove it's innocence in the appeal.

Saw in some fb page, FAM admit wrong documentation submitted to FIFA by an administrative staff. Not sure is true or not.

Just imagine this, some random Indon Bangla PRC walk into JPN and say my grandma born here, hence I qualify for citizenship. This is my grandma name, she born in 1930 in Sitiawan. Issue me birth cert please. You think JPN believe him? Now both taichi to each other but FIFA won't layan your JPN. They got the original birth certs from the right countries. Unless FAM said those are false documents, then they have provided the wrong evidence to JPN for issuing of birth certs of the 7 grandparents. Please ask FAM to bring the JPN birth certs and their supporting evidences to Argentina etc and prove to them that the originals are fakes.

QUOTE(trojandude @ Oct 9 2025, 06:00 PM) Irrelevant. The players were not issued citizenship because their grandparents were born in this country (allegedly). There is no such law in Malaysia. They were offered citizenship under the ministry’s own discretionary, not because grandparents born here allegedly. The grandparents cerita is needed to create forged birth certs to bypass FIFA rule. If these players had resided in this country for more than five years, there is no need for all that grandparents birth story. FIFA minimum years of residency is five years. Unfortunately these players haven’t reached five years hence they tried to bypass via FIFA heritage rule, which allows citizens to play for any country as long as they’re a citizen and their grandparents were born in that country. JPN that magic and creates fake birth certs for the grandparents which we now know is fake. I agree with you. Hence, if FAM furnished some yet to be disclosed documents to JPN so that the birth certificates are issued to the grandparents, then obviously they need to challenge the birth certificates obtained by FIFA as fakes. A person can only be born once. Doing anything else is entirely futile.

Again this Home Minister explanation is beating around the bush. FIFA not disputing the players given citizenship. But how did you issue the 7 birth certificates to their grandparents?
