📢 FAM ADMITS ERROR IN DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO FIFA 🇲🇾⚽️
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has acknowledged a technical error in the documentation process submitted to FIFA, carried out by its administrative staff. 📝⚠️
FAM stressed that while it takes this matter seriously, the heritage players involved remain legitimate Malaysian citizens.
Currently, FAM is awaiting FIFA’s full written judgment before officially filing an appeal through the proper legal channels. ⚖️

The main culprit is a JPN clerk that falsify the data.

Just imagine this, some random Indon Bangla PRC walk into JPN and say my grandma born here, hence I qualify for citizenship. This is my grandma name, she born in 1930 in Sitiawan. Issue me birth cert please. You think JPN believe him?
Now both taichi to each other but FIFA won't layan your JPN. They got the original birth certs from the right countries. Unless FAM said those are false documents, then they have provided the wrong evidence to JPN for issuing of birth certs of the 7 grandparents.
Please ask FAM to bring the JPN birth certs and their supporting evidences to Argentina etc and prove to them that the originals are fakes.

You’re getting it wrong. FIFA never denied they’re not citizens.

FIFA rules is that the new citizens, must have resided in the country at least five years. This is how Diego Costa can play for Spain. He’s a new citizen and already resided in Spain for a long time.

Our FAM realises this obstacle because these players haven’t reached five years, hence they used other FIFA rule. If the new citizen’s grandparents were born in Malaysia, can bypass the 5 year rule. So FAM used JPN documents which turns out to be forged, to prove that their grandparents were born in Malaysia. We now know that’s not true because FIFA have copies of birth certs of the grandparents that showed them being born out of Malaysia.

In addition, from JPN’s own words, they actually don’t have birth certs of the grandparent. They assumed that they were born in Malaysia based on some other documents which is not stated, and this issued new birth certs based on these unspecified documents.

Hence why fifa said the new birth certificates were forged
