QUOTE(*lightbringer* @ Sep 27 2025, 09:34 AM) Well its about time somebody realize their power is not infinities, its bounded to this god forsaken nation only. Who was this people's?U can stop people from talking bad about u or your policy, u can tokok in sosmed about literally anything without repercussion, but people cannot talk back to u. U can find your ways here and there because u have special blood. u can literally do anything here because of your status. About time someone realized that the power they held is only limited here in this country. |

Saifuddin:
Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said on Saturday the process of granting citizenship to the seven players had complied with the Federal Constitution. The granting of citizenship through naturalisation is provided for under Article 19(1) of the Constitution and involves a strict vetting process before any decision is made, he said, as reported by the New Straits Times (NST). “A naturalisation case refers to a situation where an applicant, through their family lineage - whether father, mother, grandmother or ancestors - has ties or origins from Malaysia,” Saifuddin said, as quoted by NST. Describing it as a “very thorough” process, he said his ministry examines all documents submitted to ensure they meet every requirement under the law. Saifuddin also clarified the decision is under the purview of FIFA and FAM, and that the Home Ministry’s focus is “strictly on citizenship matters”. TMJ: Johor’s regent Tunku Ismail and Malaysia’s former sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin, meanwhile, questioned who had lodged the complaint and why FIFA reversed its earlier decision. “FIFA has already approved (the naturalisation) before, so why has the decision changed now?,” Tunku Ismail said in a post on X on Saturday. “What led to such a decision? Was there any external party that influenced FIFA’s decision?” he added. “Who was in New York?” It is unclear who he was referring to in his New York question. The Johor crown prince, who owns Johor Darul Ta’zim, the club that three of the seven players – Figueiredo, Irazabal and Hevel – play for, also took issue with how FIFA had publicised the penalties before the appeals process had concluded. “We are not afraid and we will not bow to those who are worried about the rise of Harimau Malaya,” Tunku Ismail said. KJ: Khairy, a Johor Darul Ta’zim board member, called the reversal “strange” in an Instagram post on Saturday. “FIFA had already approved their eligibility through the proper process. That means the documents were vetted and due diligence was done. Why change their minds now,” said Khairy. KENYATAAN RASMI PERSATUAN BOLASEPAK MALAYSIA (FAM)
Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) https://www.facebook.com/FAMalaysiaOfficial |

Did anyone watch the press conference?
The Harimau Malaya CEO named TMJ as one of 3 entities in local football. 1. FAM 2. Harimau Malaya 3. TMJ (his position is above the other two entities) What nonsense is this? Also why the need to glorify TMJ and say it is his vision that brings Malaysian football forward? The press conference had many funny moments but zero substance. |

QUOTE(gamehype @ Oct 27 2025, 04:40 PM) Indon netizens quickly found one of the players grandfather birth certs - the hector guy. I’m curious Malaysian JPN can so easily issue a birth certificate, in some cases posthumously as some of the grandparents have died? What is the purpose of issuing birth certificate for people that are either dead or have no intentions of dealing with Malaysia?Turns out Netherlands have excellent record keeping and you can search for their people birth cert in their government website. So you see, not only you are fighting FIFA, you are also fighting the Netherlands government because you claim the birth cert in their website is fake. And I am pretty sure Netherlands will defend their own record keeping. So imagine that. An actual birthcert from a government that is famous for record keeping vs a birthcert issued recently, from a government that is actually famous for corruption. And that is only IF it was just FIFA birthcert vs FAM birthcert. I feel like FIFA sure has other secondary evidence. Like maybe they have proof of residence or job records. Let say Fifa also found records of their great grandparents were recorded working/living in Netherlands at the time of the grandparents birth. Even more evidence. But of course it could be the other way around. FAM has records of the great grandparents living and working in Malaysia. So that why I said. If FAM have actual real evidence, show it to the world. FAM dare or not? It’s a very bad precedent. Higher powers were involved and they should be charged for treason. Simple really. |

QUOTE(gamehype @ Oct 27 2025, 05:46 PM) Why are you confident they have none? If FAM has any legitimate evidence it would’ve been shared with FIFA and with Malaysians. They have nothing, that much is simple. We don't know what kinda evidence both sides has. But. Look at how FAM and everyone else on the Malaysian side reacted. Even TMJ held a press conference saying don't expect the sanctions to be removed. What does that say? |

How many of the 7 grandparents in question are dead? I imagine most are above 80 years old.

QUOTE(JimbeamofNRT @ Nov 6 2025, 06:43 PM) if the documents were falsified, what is the legal status of the seven players that got Malaysian citizenship? Nobody is questioning their citizenship status, not even FIFA. The Home Minister has extraordinary powers to grant citizenship to anyone at any time for any reason.are they still citizens?will their passports be revoked? The issue is, FIFA rules clearly state that a player can only represent a country IF: a) Citizenship: Citizen for 5 years: OR b) Heritage: Either one parent, or either one grandparent is born in the country These 7 players of course don't fulfil criteria (a) and "certain people" colluded with the players to cheat and play for Malaysia via (b), I.e. the dead grandparents so called born in Malaysia. To this end, JPN issued "new" birth certificates for the dead grandparents. countingcrows liked this post

I like how FAM keep sayin this is a "technical error".
My ass, we all know that this was a fraudulent attempt to circumvent the FIFA requires, plain and simple. As to why these idiots still have their position, is anyone's guess. Reformasi rings hollow, Mr Anwar. |
